Dim Sum Anyone?

Was craving for dim sum late last night, felt so hungry as my dinner was only a bowl of cereal -_-

The next best thing to do then was to plan for lunch the very next day. Breakfast is always a miss for me lol, I always wake up in time for brunch but never breakfast :(

It's too early! Anyhoos, I satisfied my cravings at Luk Fuk, which is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants that serves pretty good dim sum in Northbridge.

Why is it my favourite? I'll tell you later :)

Egg Tarts :)

This is Yu Hok Hai.

This is the reason why I love going to this restaurant. Yu Hok Hai = Fried Soft Shell Crab. Its a norm for me to get this whenever I'm there for lunch :D

Ha Gao

I'm not a very big fan of this because I always ended up eating the flesh then only the skin -_- (the whole thing falls apart, ALWAYS and this applies to ALL Ha Gaos -_-)

Century Egg Porridge

I love century eggs :)

Cha Siew Bao

Lunch was a bit late so yeah, finished eating at around 2pm. Was in the City the day before so yeah, instead of window shopping, we opted for a walk at Kings Park :)

The weather was perfect! The sun is out again!

This is Fraser Avenue.

Kings Park.

The sun was shining directly at my face and I hate it when that happens.

So there you go, a picture of me not facing the camera :)

Little Botak

Some wild flowers

Picnics anyone?

City of Perth

@ the wishing well

South Perth if I'm not wrong :P

At the War Memorial

Deng deng deng!

@ some random stairs

Naughty birds hm?

Walking on wet concrete -_-

Lotterywest Federation Walkway

I think Jia Tian will be terrified to even step foot on this -_-

Am I right Princess (kononnya) -_-

B&W :)

Fake book on display.

Unknown No.1

Unknown No. 2

And ooh! Few ducks :)

Okay enough, feeling lazy and sleepy -_- .

Heading out again tomorrow, this time with Qian Ting and Hui Ying :)

Chocolates anyone?

I LOVE FOOD!

Hello!

I'm back with updates he he he. So yes the day after I finished my exams, headed down to IKEA (took the wrong bus, so yeah, took double the time to reach our destination lol).

It was pouring!!! It was all warm and summery during my exams but wtf, it rained when I merdeka-ed. Whatever, that did not stop me from going all the way to Innaloo to eat :)

I love em' big lightbulbs behind lol.

Daim cake :D YES!

The meatballs :D

It was Tuesday so yes! Meatballs were on special, I love Tuesdays. Guess what, we shared and had 20 meatballs for only $5.

I always loved walking around IKEA, ooh, we also bought 3 packets of milk chocolates yum yum yum ($0.95 cents each, how can I say no?). Left with 2 packets now :D

Took some random pictures in UWA.

Ducks, if you can see em'.

I accidentally pricked my own thigh just to get this shot -_-

Roses with their thorns urgh!

Then movie at Innaloo again at night :D

We went for the better cinema with bigger seats and what not, which was great actually lol.

The movie itself was okay, quite fake but whatever -_-

Had homemade Bah Kut Teh the next day :D

The weather was terrible, it was so cold and windy urgh! So it was best to have some of these to warm up your bodies no? :D

It tasted great!!

I want more soon :)

Day after that was Ciao Italia @ South Perth with the UWA guys.

We were there half an hour early so yes, first in line woo hoo!

They renovated their place and its much more spacious now, still a little bit "crampy" (no such word in the dictionary, I've checked -_-) though. But this is what Ciao Italia is famous for besides their food right :)

Shadows.

Ket Vui, Lavon & David

Menu.

Jia Huan, David and Lavon, waiting anxiously for our food!

The guys. Spot me in the mirror with the flash lol.

And *drums roll please*

Here comes our food!

Lavon & Ket Vui

Guess what's in this bowl?

Cozze Pescatora - CHILLI MUSSELS!!

Chomp chomp chomp!

Strawberry Tart :D

This is huge and is meant to be shared!

THE TIRAMISU!

Forgot what this is called but it was so so only.

If you guys ever go there, order the tiramisu :D

And people, the Christmas atmosphere has landed in Perth :)

Happy Holidays!

Oh yeah, and I caught New Moon at Piccadilly this afternoon.

Not very nice and someone just spent $10 watching a crap movie LOL

Don't bother watching it -_-

No More Uni Exams :D

I'm finally done with my 3rd and final year examinations. Woo! What a relief as this last (which was also my second paper) paper was doable and didn't require much of my brain juice lol.

Summer holidays are officially here for me :)

Tomorrow: IKEA for meatballs and maybe, 2012 at night :)

Bed is calling for me now, so night everyone and good luck to Hui Ying and Meng who both still have one last paper to go :D

Catch up soon okays.

Last.

Level 4 in the Uni library has been my second home for the past few days.

Few random photos.

My desk.

Equipped with my trusty graphic calculator, few colourful strips of sticky notes, Hui Ying's MP3 player lol, bottle of cold water (to refresh myself once in a while), pens and pencil and of course, CRUNCH chocolate bar. Not forgetting my Tax study guide lol.

Hui Ying brought a piece of her birthday cake (Tiramisu) the other day and it was yum. It's there in the box :-)

Bored. And there goes the typical Asian "peace" pose lol.

Nian Chee stopped by and gave Hui Ying this packet of sugar rush. Mmm!

These people motivates me lol. Though I think that the guy nearest to the camera is taking a short nap he he.

Check out my eyebags.

@ the Silent Zone.

Wee, study. This was taken a few hours before my Tax exam ;)

Okay, enough of slacking. I need to continue on my Decision Analysis 308.

Readings and more readings, after Monday 10.40am , I'm going to be free.

Yes. The holiday awaits me. I want to do something fun (the beach and road trips anyone?) :-)

Thick.

This is how my table looks at night.

Laptop is on so I can occasionally browse through Facebook (I'm not yet a Facebook addict because I do not upload albums and albums of photos) and blogs lol (when I'm on a break la).

Two packet of half finished biscuits. I like varieties lol. And it's been there for a few days already, belum masuk angin yet okay. I love Australia.

This is what I have been having for the past two days.

Should I come up with a name for it lol. It tasted alright, can swallow -_-

But it's best if I don't have to cook it for people. Close friends know that I'm a lousy cook, better even, I don't cook lol.

But I'm trying to cut down on instant noodles now -_- so yeah, decided to cook this.

I took out the fats, all that I can find anyway, before marinating it. Mummy taught me this and I enjoy doing it. I can spend a very long time finding fats and peeling them off LOL.

Soy Chicken with no fats.

And I want a haircut! My hair is getting so thick and long and..I just need a haircut :)

For now I shall just stick with this thick signature hair of mine. I want to re-highlight my hair. Bla.

Side profile saya. I'm happy thats why there's a smile on my face -_-

And a picture of me studying this morning before heading to Uni :-)

ARGH I HATE WAITING FOR EXAMS!

Taxation 331 tomorrow at 6.45pm.

I'm all geared up. Give me the paper now, Mr. Invigilator.

AND. The letter B on my keyboard just came off again. So I'm back to using the external keyboard T _ T

Happy Birthday HY!

This girl here turns 21 today :-)

Happy Birthday!

Our first exam is tomorrow (11th Nov), which means you still need to study on your birthday itself. Go treat yourself a movie (which I think you will as I'm going to be a loner in the library tomorrow till you're back from the cinema lol).

Hope all goes well with your studying, study hard remember! Although I agree at times Acc 308 can be pretty painful and you needing to swallow pages of theories for your banking unit is tough, hang in there okay.

Have a great birthday (belated should be alright too) and we should have lunch together or something after your exams :-)

Study hard wei.

Motivate yourself by looking at this picture lol.

And here's another photo, bluetooth-ed this off you like, months ago and never really got around to using it.

Think this is the chance now eh :P

Baby Hui Ying and her apple :)

Lastly, a picture with you.

November 2008.

I looked like a rabbit, and since you're the birthday girl, I shall give you all the attention.

See the ratio of this picture -_- haha!

Taxation Law.

Going to test myself a bit here. You guys can just ignore my post :-)

When calculating partnership net income, superannuation, salaries, interest on drawings and capital of partners SHOULD NOT be included.

No low income tax offset when calculating for trustee (trust income where no one presently entitled).

Companies cannot have refund for franking credits.

If a beneficiary is presently entitled, has legal disability and is a prescribed person, the beneficiary will be assessed under S98, Div 6AA rates (45%).

If beneficiaries have legal disability/excepted person (double orphan, full time employment and disabled), they will be assessed under S97, ordinary rates.

If beneficiaries have other income of their own, they must lodge their own tax return.

If income is Excepted Assessable Income (salaries, interest/rent/dividends from damages, investment income left from estate of a deceased person) - taxed at ordinary rates.

If income is Eligible Assessable Income - taxed at 45%, which is under Div 6AA.

For franking account, if there is a deficit at 30 June, will have to pay Franking Deficit Tax and this is credited in the franking account.

If there is a breach (under), then debit.

If there is a breach (over), have to pay overfranking tax and this is NOT to be included in the franking account but a side note.

Uniform capital allowance - if non-SBE taxpayers, schedule A used and if asset cost less than $300 and does not generate business income, can be written off immediately. Can use pooling (schedule B) - low value pool for low value and low cost assets. Low value meaning OAV has dropped to less than $1000. Low cost assets - cost less than $1000 (existing assets at 37.5%, new assets at 18.75%).

For SBE taxpayers - schedule C is used. Assets less than 1000 (100% write off), General Pool (existing assets at 30%, new assets at 15%), Long Life Pool (existing assets at 5%, new assets at 2.5%).

For companies, can only carry forward losses/bad debts if one of the two business tests have been met (same business and ownership).

LA LA LA LA. What else -_-

Need to keep repeating those reconciliation questions!! PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!

Practice makes perfect, but nobody is perfect. So why practice? But you know what. I'm going to try to be just that 1 percent closer to that P word now.

Come on Deniseeeee :-)
